Come stay in one of our log cabins. Full electricity with a refrigerator and kitchenette. Outside there is a propane BBQ. Cabins can accommodate up to 8 people. Our Main lodge (pictured) is a great place to share the fish stories of the day and relax. We have full cell coverage at the camp.
Bathroom and shower facilities are centrally located for guests, as well, this fully appointed filleting shack is a comfortable spot to process your catch. Freezers are available for use also.
We use 16 or 18 foot Lund deep V aluminum boats with 20 or 25 hp tiller engines during your stay at Hunter Bay Lodge (3 persons per boat). Each boat is equipped with seats, life vests, net, anchor, and oars.
For down rigging, we can take you out in either of our 21 foot boats to find the big lake trout in the deep water on Hunter Bay
The Camp is located on Lac La Ronge, in the NE corner of Hunter Bay, 60 km from La Ronge

Want even more adventure? Once in Nunn Lake, with a guide, you can take the trek to one of the hike-in lakes where the pike and walleye are abundant and rarely see a hook!
DO IT YOURSELF
We pick you up at the Eagle Point Sales and Service Marina in La Ronge and boat from there to camp. Safe parking on site is available for a nominal fee. Enjoy the 60 km scenic trip through many of the lake's 1300 islands, worry free. The chosen route allows passage in all weather conditions. You bring your own food, fishing gear, bait, ice, sleeping bag. We provide cabins, boats, motors, gas (20L/day, $2.50/L for extra), propane, filleting shack and freezers.

Fly in is available at additional cost. It is up to the guest to organize and pay the airline separately.
BRING YOUR OWN BOAT
Prefer to use your own boat? Just launch at the marina and follow us in your boat from LaRonge to camp and back ($300 fee each way will apply) ensuring safe passage. You can rent a cabin and have the use of the amenities at the camp (central bathroom and shower facilities, filleting shack, propane BBQ), you bring your own food, fuel, bait, ice, sleeping bag.

Upon booking, a 25% deposit is required, refundable if cancelled prior to 30 days of trip. If within the 30 days of trip it can be transferred to your next trip. Any cancellations less than 14 days from date of trip are non refundable.
A $100 charge will be applied if a cabin is left a mess.
No Sunflower Seeds are to be left in the boats or a $50 cleaning fee will be charged.
A $50 fee is required to run the generator over night for sleep appliances or other devices that require power over night.
GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE CAMP PROPERTY, INCLUDING THE BOATS AND MOTORS. There are rocks and reefs on the lake so it is the guest's responsibility to avoid them and not cause property damage. Maps with troublesome areas clearly marked are provided. Caution should always be used in unknown waters.
Damaged Prop = $200
Damaged prop shaft/lower unit = $1500
(a bent prop shaft is often not found until later so if major prop damage occurs, the guests shall be charged for the cost of a lower unit and refunded if the damage is less than anticipated. A receipt from a certified mechanic will be provided)
It is illegal to consume alcohol while in a boat, just as it is anywhere else
